Top platforms are too small for large cats. 9/16/2011
Our rather large cats (11 lbs. and 15 lbs.) can only sit on the upper platforms. Try as they might, there wasn't room to lie down. They enjoyed exploring it for a couple of days, but now seem to ignore it.
The assembly instructions were written in German. Fortunately, all the parts are numbered and assembly is easy using just the pictures and included Allen wrenches.
The lower condo's front is made of thin, 1/8" high density board and was cracked in three places, probably during shipment. The pieces were packed tightly in one box with no padding.
Great for Kittens, Challenge for older cats 9/15/2011wysiwiger from Manassas, VA
This is a great product for kittens, but I think older cats will find it more challenging to negotiate.
The trays were too small for my average sized (11 pound) cat. I removed 2 of the platforms and poles to give my cat room to lay on top of the main structures. I removed the 2 ramps between levels because my cat didn't like them. The covering material is thin and will possibly tear. Putting it together was very easy. All pieces were well marked as to position and fit together well. Very tall!!
